    Why did he break his commitment to Va Tech? Was he one of those that did so after the shooting?

    Anyway, he just signed with UNCC.

    I believe playing time may have been an issue. I also think he decommitted before the shootings.

    He knows Lutz will let him do whatever the fuck he wants to do. Jack 3s, not play D, punch out teammates.

    VT signed 4 guards in the last class. He did decommit before the shootings. Made unofficial visits to Charlotte last Friday before going to UNC Wilmington on Saturday. Gutter wasn't there to give him a campus tour and the coaches had to do so and Bowden decided on Tuesday to commit to the 49ers. He had pretty much been off the recruiting radars since he had commited to the Hokies last year.

    vp, it is just a verbal commitment. LOI signing days are November 14-21 this fall.

    BTW, I half a day with UNCW coach Benny Moss last week. A recruit would be stupid not to go there if they are interested in the least. Good school and facilities, 66% female, 33% male, 1% other... not to mention the beach. Of the 13 players that have come on campus for official visits, they have gotten commitments from 11. The 2 who didn't commit went to Georgetown and Va Tech.

    This guy is a bigtime player. He dropped 20 ppg for a very good Miller School team. He also starts for one of the top AAU teams in the country, Boo Williams.

    We will need immediate help at the 2 in 08/09, so I hope he pans out as expected.
