Dante has been frustrating. Apparently he’s not so smart and aside from running down on kicks and occupying a blocker or two he's worthless

He plays well on special teams and he showed flashes on defense. I would just as soon have him in the mix for us at safety as the other scrubs we have now.

I don't think we take him back, never really moved up the depth chart from special teams. Bears were thin at safety last year they didn't move him which doesn't bode well.

Can anyone remember any plays he made the last 2 years he was here? All I got is a deflected pass vs. NE where he covered Dwight really well, that's it.

Look at our depth at safety and tell me he is not worth giving a shot. We never tried him at safety only at corner.

I'm not saying he is or that the Panthers would even use him at Safety, but you'd be making a mistake to say he's NOT coming back. There is a chance and all be it a good one. Simply because the Panthers have shown they want to improve ST this year from last year, and he was a solid contributor here on ST. Fox likes stuff like that so them getting him at league min. to gun, and play 4th CB wouldn't be out of the question.

You would've thought that after his few years here as a 4th corner we would at least possibly give him a shot at safety. He has great size. Maybe it'd work out.
