Here's a real good, light summer dessert. Big plus is that it is easy to make and looks fancy.

    1 tub of cool whip
1 8 oz package of cream cheese (softened to room temp)
1 16 oz can of crushed pineapple
2 packages cannoli cookies. (They look like tubes.)

Mix everything together and squirt it in a cannoli cookie.
You can get everything at Wal-Mart including a cheap pastry bag. Makes about 40 cookies.

That looks fucking disgusting. Just bring napkins JB, otherwise your going to be expected to cook something every time. As a matter of fact, you should find a way to fuck up bringing the napkins so you won't have to do that anymore either.

He could always serve Balut. I doubt anyone would ever ask him to bring food again. For the rest of his life.

It's better to go impressive than easy.

    Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Peppers

    25 fresh jalapeno peppers
    14-16 ounces cream cheese
    2 cups shredded chedder cheese
    2 (16 ounce) packages bacon

Cut stems off of peppers and cut them all in half longways.
    Remove seeds from peppers.
Fill each pepper with cream cheese and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
Wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around each pepper half.
Place on a broiler pan and place in 450 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked.
    Remove and serve when cooled.

You can save time by mixing the cheddar cheese with the cream cheese. But it won't look as pretty.
You can use a baking sheet instead of the broiler pan, but it will be greaser.

Walmart doesn't carry those cannolli cookies. I'm going to try UKrop.

i was wondering, how about just buying a cake and then putting it on a platter like i made it. think anyone would know? Doc goes to these senior dinners at his church and all these old women make all this homemade stuff. maybe i'll pay one of them to make something. would that be evil? :deal2:

Buy the cake, leave it in it's original container. Stop worrying.

Harris Teeter does...and dont use that gross cream cheese recepie for canoli. Get a big tub of ricotta cheese, add about half a box of confectioners sugar (powdered sugar) and a bag of mimi chocolate chip morsels. Whip that shit up, put it in a zip bag, cut off the end and pipe that ship up in there. :woohoo:
