Nope, you're wrong. The creators of Lost (which I don't particularly like either) had a whole series of things planned out from the very beginning, which is why little details are included in early episodes that suddenly become significant many shows later. I wouldn't disagree if you accused them of dropping in filler last season, but that's not the same thing as trying to figure out the story as you go along. It's pretty clear that Lost was all planned out beforehand, and the creators have said so as well.
No, it's awful. The writing is piss poor, both in terms of plot consistency and the dialogue. Really, if it wasn't a superhero show then I doubt many people at all would like it, but a lot of people are suckers for superhero stuff (I usually am, I just eventually grew to despise this one). Others have already mentioned some of the week to week holes, but there are plenty more as well. The presence of so many is why I eventually stopped watching the show, although some of my friends continued to do so and said that it didn't get any better in that department.
Again, it's pretty much undeniable that the writing is bad, but they do have some cool scenes and I think they're better off with the more action they include per episode.
    Heh.

I see now how you get people all revved up about you. In this instance, Yesca says the writing is solid yet you say it's undeniably bad, as if he hadn't said it was solid at all. You just take their side of the debate and throw it out the window in order to make your opinion (i.e. argument) stronger.

It is bad, though. Many have noted the episode to episode plot inconsistencies, even in this very thread, and it's not difficult to see that the dialogue is bad either. People don't like Heroes for the writing, they like it for the superpowers. Yesca was just emotionally defending a show that he/she likes.

Disagreed. The writing is pretty good. You've simply gotta be able to notice the nuances and watching it like reading a comic book. That's the whole point. Something that happened 5 episodes back will be explained finally, but it may be a small subtle explanation. If you're watching it because of neat little TV effects you're nothing more than a redneck anyways and you'd be just as pleased watching Cops to see you relatives.
