Staal, brother arrested after bachelor party in Minnesota
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Carolina Hurricanes center Eric Staal and
his younger brother Jordan of the Pittsburgh Penguins were among 14
people arrested in Minnesota following a rowdy bachelor party for
Eric Staal.
Misdemeanor charges were filed after partygoers were arrested
around four a-m Monday while harassing passing motorists along
Route 61. Officials say that occurred about an hour after they were
kicked out of the Lutsen Resort and Sea Villas in Lutsen,
Minnesota, because of "screaming, yelling and playing loud
music."
That's according to state and local authorities in Cook County,
Minnesota.
Eric Staal, who's 22, is to be married next month.
He's charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal
process. Jordan Staal, who's 18, faces a charge of underage
consumption of alcohol.
Hurricanes general manager Jim Rutherford tells The Associated
Press he -doesn't- foresee any action being taken by the
organization.

Not a big deal in my book considering it's not drugs, drunk driving, rape or anything....just kids being loud and intoxicated. Kinda funny actually.

 

Did the other Staal brothers get busted for anything? Glad we have Bettman rather than Goodall

 

don't think so...just says those 2. All they did was play loud music. It's not like they ran a dogfighting ring, or bet on NBA games...

 

If Anson Carter or Jarome Iginla did it they would be done.
