    At this point I'm thinking that Blank will suspend him with pay until the legal proceedings are concluded.

    That would be pouring another 6 milliion on top of what has already been paid. Pretty high risk investment at this time. I think a morals clause suspension may be worth a try. The union may contest it, but it could cut losses in the long run.
