It's amazing how Ray Lew has survived, but a lot of that had to do with an amazing Super Bowl performance. People started to recognize him as a great linebacker. I think Vick will have a tougher time getting over this.

I don't. They owned us for years and showed no class. I hope their fucking stadium burns down on top of this.

the media circus surrounding this will be suffocating. it will swallow up any and all attempts to deflect attention away from ookie and back onto the "team." trial or not, this is a very bad deal for the falcons in 07, even worse if ookie is allowed to remain on the team. it will crush them.

Wrong about the time. His first court appearance is July 26, during Falcons practice.

I'm hearing the trial will be over before football season is over.

    Vick is done.

It will crush them, either way. Part of me says they should bite the bullet, get rid of him now and rebuild. That would really screw them short term, but they would have a chance to recover two or three years down the road. If this is actually hanging over until '08, they could be in even deeper shit.

Lewis wasn't at the murder though, was he? Or at least, it couldn't be proven that he was.

They are saying Vick was at the fights, he participated in the training, and even killed some dogs.

Lewis was at the murder. He got off because he didn't act, and because he ratted out his friends.

I'm not playing. You need to repent. Kneel down and say sugar three times, and hopefully we'll be forgiven.

What do you think the odds are that Mike Vick is the only NFL player who has been to a dogfight on that property?

And if the case against him is as strong as they say, there are going to be some nervous fuckers out there.
