Even if he's not convicted, will probably serve some suspension time.

It’s boring enough as a Panthers fan right now to go to the falcons board and watch them pathetically peck at each other . . . fun enough for now.)

i'll say this, the feds don't indict unless they have a slam dunk. they have close to a 100% conviction rate, much higher than state units.

One small part of me questions the amount of time our local, state and federal law enforcement agencies have spent on this investigation. Not to mention the time and money we will dedicate to pursuing this case through the inevitable long, drawn out (and publically viewed) trial. Then we have the appeals process if they convict him. If we get through all that and still have an active jail sentance pending we get to pay to house, clothe and feed a filthy rich young man for the term of his incarceration. How much of our tax dollars does this all cost??? 1 mil? 2 mil? Screw it. That's what I pay taxes for. Fry the bastard! Go Panthers!

If I were the Falcons owner I'd do something like Tampa did with Keyshawn and pay him to stay away from the team this season. There is no way it's in the best interest of the team on the field or business wise for him to be associated with the team.

PFT is running wold with this. While you have to question the source they're saying there's a damn good chance Nike drops him now.
