J-Rich has been vacationing in the Bahamas and is due in Charlotte today to take his physical. They has an article and a blog in the Oakland papers and they were pretty good reads.

Basically he was shocked and hurt about getting traded, didn't want to come to Charlotte because he didn't want to go to a losing team- MJ called and now he's excited and ready to roll and thinks we have an exciting team with a chance to make some noise...

Also Espn is reporting that The Hammer- Matt Carroll has resigned for 6 years..

Good to see that this ownership group is not letting the important players walk....Now just get Gerald locked up and we are looking pretty good.

Leaving a world class city for Charlotte would be enough to piss you off....

Oakland is a shithole, not a world class city.

And for some reason re-signing Carroll to a six year deal really makes me think that Wallace is gone, unless he came a lot cheaper than I expect.

I doubt many of the players live in Oakland. SF is right across the bay...

That's a substantial commute, but perhaps. In any case, he has to work in a shithole. Charlotte would be a step up.
