He'll go on the DL for having too much sand in his vagina.

3 wins in a row over the Nats, is their hope for a charge?

True, but when you go through a strech where you score 1 run in 5 games, you are encouraged to see the bats wake up. Now on to Florida to play the Marlins whom the Braves don't play very well.

Edgar Renteria sure deserves to be in the All Star Game. The guy is having a monster season.

Braves a making a good push just before the break...8-3 since the end of Interleague play and now are only 2 games back of the Mets.

Looks like maybe Andru is started to wake up. Big dinger last night. My guess is that he will end the year hitting around .240 with close to 100 RBI. If Chipper can stay healthy and Smoltz is OK, they could be a factor in the
2nd half of the season. The Phillies scare me more than the Muckin Fets.

The Mets are still the best team in the East. They'll be getting Pedro back before too long, while the Phillies have continued to have injuries eat away at their staff.
