    yeah - i was shocked with that reaction. his career was slowly crescendoing until this year he was averaging 14, 15, 18, 21, 23 until he flattened to 16 this year. i guess he had an injury b/c he only played like 50 games...

    PG- Felton, Knight

    SG- Richardson, Morrison

    SF- Wallace, Hermann

    PF- Okafor, May, Jared Dudley

    C- Brezic

    Can definitely make the playoffs next year if they stay healthy.


    Still keeps with the youth movement too, it's not like J-Rich is 30. Damn, he averaged 6 rebounds a game last year too. I love this trade, he's exactly the type of 2 we needed.


    edit: that was in the playoffs, still got 5 boards a game in the regular season though

    [Traded to Golden State] It appears that the Bobcats have traded this pick to Golden State for Jason Richardson. Michael Jordan has been saying for weeks that he didn't want a rookie but wanted an established player who could help put the Bobcats in the playoffs. Richardson is coming off a great playoff run for the Warriors and fits a big need for the Bobcats at the 2. For the Warriors, the deal clears cap room, rids the team of a logjam at the 2 and gives them a young, athletic 4 to pair in the frontcourt with Andris Biedrins.

    Not last year (Baron Davis) but probably the previous two years. Ironically Monta Ellis' development makes J-Rich expendable. It's a good trade for them as well, if you think Brandan Wright can blow up.

    I'm really fucking excited right now. Not "Hey we just won the lottery and got Greg Oden" excited, but for being at 8 this is better than my best case scenario.
