Most rookies who get heavy playing time early will fade the second half of the season.

Hopefully he'll make a decent jump in his second year.

No one sees the Bobcats on TV and few go to the arena, so no. But I looked it up, and while it is nice that he dropped 27 against them on November 15th, I also noticed that he scored 4 in 35 minutes during the rematch in San Antonio.

So with the #3 pick in the draft, we got a guy who can't play defense and shot less than 40% from the field. I'd trade him straight up for Darko, so I'm not sure what that says about his status as a draft bust.

Well, I saw the game on TV, and he didn't do shit in the first half. He dominated the second half and led us to a win, it was pretty special. Especially for a rookie. Unfortunately, despite a handful of 30 point games, there were also 55 games that he was below average to horrendous. I wonder if/how his diabetes affected him in the season. Hopefully he can put on some strength, because right now like Collin said he's a shooter who can't shoot. I think he just gets tired, hopefully he's a little more consistent than Rex Chapman although I think I'd settle for Rex consistency next year. His third year will be his crucial year I think, also it would be nice if he didn't have to start at SG.

Still, it's not like there are a ton of rookies tearing it up last year. Morrison had a handful of great games, and he did make the All Rookie team.

edit: I'd trade him for Darko too, not sure what that proves though. I'd trade him for Brandon Roy too, and Andrea Bargnini.

And Sean Williams goes 17, crap. I'm going to pull a Collin now and believe that May for 17 was never offered.
