    Thanks to those of you who responded sensibly, I'll check out your suggestions.

    I've been to Ri Ra and had a really good Boxty (a potato pancake) with my Guinness. I was surrounded by folks eating sandwiches and fries. I don't understand; if you want a sandwich go to a diner (or Rock Bottom), not an Irish pub. Connellys was dark and dismal with only two customers, both unfriendly.

    Not too sure about the 'British Pub'. I don't find the American versions of British pubs too good, especially if they're full of Brits.

    did the fact that some people were eating sandwiches and fries make your potato patty less tasty? Perhaps they just don't like sheep penis or cow stomach and are there for the Guinness. Just eat your bland-ass food and keep your opinions to yourself, cockholster.

    Opinions is what this forum is all about so I'll continue posting what I want without asking your permission. I understand that you need to maintain your 'loathsome' image, but don't bother yourself insulting someone who doesn't give a shit.
