    That's fair.
Not even remotely true. Brown is solid, but the very fact that he gets hurt all the time makes him seem better than he is. People compare the team with him starting versus some scrub back-up instead of contrasting his performance against the play of another starting safety. Neither Brown or Morgan are "incredible talents" by any stretch of the imagination.

Given the issues we face with Jenkins after the attempted trade and his weight issues I would just as soon trade him to Chicago if we got anything decent for him. A third round pick would be good enough for me. I get the idea we are not going to get much from him this year anyway.

He could either low-effort a season so we'll get rid of him and he can find a deal elsewhere (which likely would be a one year low dollar prove you can play deal) or he can play hard this year. Which one benefits him the most?

Will you and the people who think like you please just knock it off? The media has put this thought into your heads, but you have to at least try and think for yourself. Jenkins came in overweight last season too, right? And he was one of the most important parts of our defense last year, correct?

People have started pretending that Jenkins wasn't that good last year and that we'd be fine without him because the newspapers have planted that thought in your brain. It is an incorrect thought. Jenkins was not as dominating in '06 as he was in '03, but he was still one of the best defensive tackles in football and certainly deserving of his Pro Bowl trip. He is the second most important player on our defense behind Peppers. He's more important than Morgan, more important than Rucker, more important than anyone except Julius. And you want to throw that away for a draft pick?
