    three-part question:

A: In New York State we pay a five-cent deposit on all cans and bottles that hold carbonated beverages. In Michigan you get 10 cents per returned can or bottle. How much soda and beer do I have to buy in order to turn a $67,350 profit on the return, assuming I'll spend about $5,000 in fuel costs to truck the cans and bottles to Port Huron.

B: Since I'm going through Canada to get to Michigan, I plan on having the $67,350 changed into pennies in Canada on the return trip. When I get back to NY, I'll put all the Canadian pennies into rolls and take them to the bank. What I need to know, is how much over the $67,350 will I get?

    C. I will then buy more soda and beer and do the whole thing over again. How long, assuming I drink a case of beer/soda per week combined, will it take me to get to $242,760?

maybe meatstick or Mathmajor can help

well, I can collect some. I'm thinking of opening a redemption center that pays 6 cents per can/bottle. that way I get everyone's empties. Sure, it'll cut into my profits because I'm only making four cents on a can instead of five. However, since volume will increase, I'll make my initial $67,350 a fuck of a lot faster.

so with this new adjustment, how long before I can get to $242,760?

I can't see out my back window for the empties. Plus, to make matters worse, it's coming up a cloud
