    Southern??? I grew up on that shit in PA... Always thought of it as more of a PA Dutch thing.... That and Pimento Loaf..... Both are good.

    But regarding Olive loaf.... It's basically just bologna with olives in it. What's the big deal.

    It's not a big deal at all.... You started the thread about it asking how people can stand the shit. Do you not like bologna? or olives? I'm not raving saying it's the best thing in the world as far as food goes, but sure, it's definately tasty stuff. So is American Cheese, but I don't need to start a thread about it either.....

    So I ask you..... What's the big deal? Why all the hate for the olive loaf?

    I guess if you love processed meat and olives it is a big deal. Like the baloney desn't have enough salt, throw in some salty olives.

    BTW what do you put on an olive loaf sammy? Mustard?
