Carolina,(Everyone know who I'm talking about except the nits in South Carolina) will play Oregon State in the College World Series Final beginning tonight in Omaha. Heels should have won it last year but couldn't get it done. Maybe this is their year. ACC has not won the College Baseball National Championship since Wake Forest did it back in the 50's.

    Go Heels!!!

If it was that obvious then this was unnecessary.

Oregon State will probably win. I don't know how UNC didn't win last year with a rotation of Bard, Miller, and Woodard

Heels are having a mild meltdown in the 7th. Leaving a lot of guys on, so they might could pull it out.

And Williams just made a fantastic catch.

I guess the Heels peaked when they won 2 verses Rice. They had some great catches last night but then the absentee 1st baseman in the 7th? and what the fuck kind of slide was that when he got gunned down at home? Granted it would have been close and probably out why he didn't slide head first and to the inside tagging with his right hand is beyond me

Was that guy at 1st the regular 1st basemen? It looked like he thought it was going up the middle, and so he was getting in position to cutoff, which is what the announcer said.

I'm not sure. I got in from DC and caught the game from the 7th on. I remember the announcers making comment how the Heels were butchering the fundamentals using that as an example.

I caught that 7th and some other spots, but not the whole thing. They looked like a few other teams that got booted along the way. Brain freeze innings.

UNC is D-2 compared to Oregon State.
