anyone ever heard of it? One just opened up here. Really good food...and cheap too.

I had quahog casino and a cup of pilot whale bisque as an appetizer. For the main entree I had the Chevon-Cabrito/muskellunge surf-and-turf with rice peel-off (I never knew that you could get rice with the peel still on) and the vegetable medley with garlic butter; and rhubarb cheesecake for desert. I had unsweetened iced tea (free refills!) for my beverage.

all told: $18.99 plus a $1 tip. That put me one penny under budget. I'll save it for the Salvation Army kettle ringer at Kmart this coming Holiday season.

If one ever opens up down your way, I'd highly recommend Ponderosa Steakhouse.

I went there when I had to stop because of a snow storm in PA. It is way over priced and the kid's menu sucks.:curtain:

they have an all you can eat salad bar if you really want to save. lots of different flavors of dressing and those cubes of toast you can put on top of the lettuce. I was disappointed that they had Bacos and not real bacon pieces. I didn't have salad, though. I just looked at it. someone said the macaronis were good.

Those toast cubes were tasty. I made the wife fill her purse with'em so we could eat breakfast at the hotel.

Last time I ate at one of these places was 1984 somewhere in Maryland. Paper thin steaks of questionable origin.

I ate at Golden Corrall once and found a hermit crab in my smashed potatoes.
