Anybody got 5 they haven't seen that weren't really highly acclaimed at the time that people might like and maybe never heard of? Here's mine

Shoot to Kill (Tom Berenger,Kirstie Alley)
    An Innocent Man (Tom Selleck)
American History X (Edward Norton, Beverly D'Angelo)
    Mulholland Drive (Naomi Watts)
    Bad Boys (Sean Penn)

Trying to get some ideas for some older stuff I've never seen. Any categories are fine.

Gotta really rack the brain here. Shoot to Kill is awesome, love the start, best crime scene getaway ive seen (of course, this was almost 20 years ago). Sniper is another kickass Beringer movie with Billy Zane.

Heres 5 from me, not my fab 5 just ones on the top of my head right now.

In the Name of the Father - Daniel Day Lewis
The Power of One - Morgan Freeman, Armen Meuhler Stahll, Daniel Craig, Stephen Dorff.
The Abyss - Ed Harris, Micheal Biehn, Mary Mastrontonio (she's in Class Action with Gene Hackman which is cool too)
Stakeout - Emilio Esteves, Richard Dreyfuss, Madeline Stowe. So many funny one liners in this, its a classic in our household.
Lake Placid - Love this funny croc movie, stars Brendan Gleeson, one of my favorite actors and an oh so hot sheriff chick that ive had a crush on since childhood Meredith Salenger, (that chick from Dream and little dream)
Sneakers - A cool techy flick starring Robert Redford, Dan Akroyd, River Phoenix, Sidner Poitier, James Earl Jones and Ben Kinsgley

    Hello!!! Sidney Poitier!!!

Shoot to Kill would be on my list, too.

    And so would Sneakers.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
    Cliffhanger (Stallone)

Was Coming to America a blockbuster?

    The Professional. Launched Natalie Portman.
    The Chase. Very underrated film.
Evil Dead 2. Greatest horror movie ever.
Memento. Crazy good, yet no props whatsover.

Nice list. Dunno about the Chase though. Luc Besson in general isn't appreciated enough in the states. Check the real version of The Professional called "Leon". Some stuff in that one that wouldn't fly in U.S. theaters.

And City of God is fucking fantastic. I have high hopes for Pan's Labyrinth too (coming in this week's Netflix shipment).
