If a major leager is placed on the 15 day disbled list, and those 15 days have passed, what are the clubs options for "reactivating" the player. Can the club choose to not activate the player if so, do they have to place on DL again, or can they just keep the player on the 40 man roster, and not place on active (25 man) roster?

The 15 day DL does not have an upper limit, it just means that they have to be out of action for at least 15 days (and it can be applied retroactively for as many days into the past as that player hasn't appeared in a game). So you can be on the 15 day DL for a month or all season, although most long-term injuries are transferred to the 60-day DL so that they can be temporarily replaced on the 40 man roster.

Didn'y they used to have something like a 10 day and 20 day? Also, I don't think they let players go to thie minors for rehab, if they were under the contract of a MLB team.
