    I had the pleasure of attending my first game at Wrigley Field yesterday. I got goosebumps when I first entered the park and saw the field and ivy. But man, the Cubs suck. Two dingers in the first inning, a pitcher that evidently doesn't know to cover first base and a relief pitcher that gives up a dinger to the second person he faces. They were playing the frigging Marlins. I still had a great time, if only for the ambience.

    Hope to get to Wrigley someday. Face it though, it's the only thing the Cubs have going for them. Pinella would have been a lot better off staying in Tampa.

    Presently that is the case. All the people I talk to around here (Chicago) is that you go to Wrigley for the atmoshphere and US Cellular Field for baseball. The history made experiencing Wrigley worth it.

    The Friday incident in the dugout and clubhouse may have spelled the end for Zombrano in Chicago. He has struggled this year anyway and the Cubs may have seen more than they care to see. He will still get a big free agent deal somwwhere but I don't think it will be with the Cubs. What a pathetic franchise? Move them somewhere because they don't deserve the loyal fans that they have.
