That musta sucked. I had all four taken out while in college. I remember the time after, before the drugs were off, was pretty cool.

But it's helped the pain enough to make it bearable.

I have heard peroxide if you swish it around in your mouth for a while it will ease the pain. Worth a try.

    Here

I was awake the whole time they pulled all four of mine. Since they weren't impacted, the dentist wanted to just use novocaine. Having to hear the noise of the roots breaking as they yanked was the worst part. That and having to wait for the pain prescription to be filled. Some lady was too short to reach stuff and kept asking me for help. As my mouth was stuffed with cotton, I couldn't tell her to piss off. I was in pain.

Hope the tylenol is still working Coops!

Dentist said wisdom teeth are actually looking good. I don't need to consider taking them out. Found out through x-rays I have a sinus infection. Sad thing is I didn't even realize I had it because I'm just used to having to deal with my allergies and sinuses instead of thinking something might be wrong.

Felt wierd to have the dentist give me antibiotics instead of my regular doctor.

I had mine removed long ago. Being the son of a dentist paid off. I got a valium drip and drifted for hours. All four were impacted and had to be hammer and chisled out. Now the next day was not fun at all

Geeze - I can relate to this! I had one more of mine out a couple of weeks ago. Same as you WW - just the injections and I was up and away. The worst thing was it had started to disintegrate and the nerves were exposed...they put this clove type stuff on it, which helped a lot and I got antibiotics to ease the infection. I had to wait the next day as they were full - jeebus. By the end of it, I damn near took it out myself.

My advice Coops - is get them out - now. Don't wait and put up with infections (sinus or otherwise)...bugger that for a game of soldiers - pull the bitches!
