Huge 3 game series. If we can sweep them and make them panic into firing Torre, then their season goes totally in the crapper. :nopity:

I think Shill beans him tonight. That was a cheap slide. He may bean Jeter because that has been the trend lately. They make Jeter pay for anyones elses shit.

I hope not. Love or hate the Yanks, Jeter's has way more class than A-Rod will ever hope to have.

I did chuckle when he was whining over being punched out by Papelbon to end the game. two pretty much unhittable pitches on the low outside corner.

    Thanks, baseball god of knowledege.

Anyway, I'm pretty disappointed at the way the series went. Sure, the rotations set up better for them, but Schill needs to do better than that effort last night. I was travelling and really didn't get to see much of the games, but about the only positives I really tok away from the series were that it seems like Manny is starting to warm up a little and Youk keeps plugging away.

the thing I saw was no snap or movement on his pitches

wondering where his effective split finger went also

add that to his last game where he gave up 7 extra base hits and he better find out what it is
