expansion is a guaranteed losing team for the first few years. its hard to get excited hoping the team only gets beat by 10, not 25...especially when you know or have felt the growing pains an upstart franchise goes through already. plus the tv deal is KILLING any hopes of stirring up support. hard to shell out money to watch a team in person that you never get to see on tv. as they get better, hornet hangover wears off more, etc. people will support. every city loves a winner. look no further than miami last year to this year.

Fair weather is not just the climate description for Charlotte.

After the disappointment wore off, I laugh at Memphis and Boston getting screwed. And because my buddy is one of the 14 Hawk fans, I laughed when he got so close but yet so far.

Fucking NBA..sending Oden and Durant out to the Northwest. Not good for the NBA I think.

edit: Portland is going to be fucking loaded.

Hmm, will Corey Brewer still be around at 8? He would fit well with our team.

I like Hibbert too, not as much as Brewer.

This sucks, we should have Oden :bigcry:

Atlanta is sitting pretty with the #3 and #11 pick...I wonder how they will fuck it up this year.

I wonder if either the Blazers or Sonics would be dumb enough to trade their pick for 3 and 11?

Even though we're picking 8th, the Basketball gods did the right thing, crushing Memphis, Boston, and Milwaukee...the three biggest Tank jobs in the NBA this past year.
