Otherwise, it's illegal, whether it's precieved as 'right or wrong'. I think it's kinda whack even if I am into hunting criters, including wild dogs.

actually, fighting pit bulls have usually been bred and trained to not attack humans, or at least be less aggressive. It makes sense when you beat and starve it, train it to attack other dogs, and then expect to handle it before or after.
