and they still have a point guard that's at best average...like I said when this thread started...the Duke standard of being bad (8,9,10 losses) may not be just a one year thing.

Aren't you a wolfie? You picking on another team's point guard?

Paulus wasn't average at best at the end of the year at all, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt because he did struggle in the beginning of the year.

The way I see it there are only two teams in conference next year that will have a significant advantage in the paint, UNC and NC St. Of course NC St won't have anyone to get the ball into the paint.

Even being thin at center, Duke will still be 2nd in conference at worst.

Nor are they decided by a single big center. We can go 6'8" or higher 3-5 with the best rebounding guard in the league in Nelson. So even though we will be thin at center, we won't be small at all.

Big talk from a fan of a team that was 1 game out of 5th and the difference wasn't even them winning that game but someone else losing another game.

But I think I said Duke would be top 4....maybe 3.

I'm far from a huge Paulus fan, but let's be fair. He did break his foot right before the season started, I was surprised he was able to come back as soon as he did. I have high hopes for him coming into this year based on how he finished the last.
