Weighed in at my weight doc's office this afternoon at 205. That puts me at exactly what I weighed when I graduated from high school 17 years ago. I've got about another 15-20 lbs. to go, which I should reach by the end of the summer.

    HB, you're looking FANTASTIC!!!

My personal opinion is that you should just aim to maintain where you're at now. You & your doc should know best, based on overall health issues--but DAYUM, you be lookin' GOOD! ;) How are you feeling?

Yeah I have! I'm on my 3rd wardrobe so far -- no joke. I think I'm getting close to most of the sizes I'm going to be, but I won't know for sure until I hit my goal weight. Even then, I'm planning to put on some muscle (I hope), so I may fluctuate some even then.

Thank you, Miss AK. You makin' me blush...

I'm feeling pretty good. My doc told me yesterday that 185-190 will land me "right in the healthy part of the healthy BMI zone", which has been my goal from the beginning -- to be healthy, regardless of the numbers. But we'll see. If I feel more comfortable at 195 than 185, that's where I'll stay. I'll just keep listening to my docs and to my body and see what they tell me.

That's the smart way to go--healthy & feeling good, regardless of the "numbers." Whatever the numbers say, you are looking fab right now, & you're an inspiration! Please do keep us posted! :notworthy

Weighed in at 194 this week. That makes 120 lbs. lost since 7/5/2006.

It's funny -- A few months ago when I saw my doc, he said, "Wouldn't it be something if next time you came in, there was a 'one' in front of that number?" Well, the last time I saw him, there was. And that's a first since fall of '89 when I was playing high school football. He said my labs were "perfect" and took me off the cholesterol med I was on. He said I didn't have to see him again until October.

Less than 10 lbs. to go to hit my target weight of 185. Next week, I plan to finally get my wedding ring resized (haven't been able to wear it for months -- it falls off) and get my eyes examined. I've heard your eyes change for every 20 lbs. or so lost, so I figured there wasn't much point in getting new glasses until I was at my goal, or close to it.

Something else that's pretty cool is that I'm starting to get some tone and definition (finally!). It's just starting to show on my thighs, abs, chest, shoulders, and arms. I'm pretty jazzed about that.

    Here are some before-and-after numbers:
    Shirt size:
    Before: 4XL
    Now: L

    Pants size:
    Before: 46x30 relaxed fit
    Now: 34x32 regular fit

    And recent pics...
