What's that, about a little less than one million per start? Talking about his salary not the luxury tax part.

I was reading that he doesn't even have to travel with the team when he is not scheduled to pitch. I feel that he is a great pitcher and will go down as one of the top pitchers in this time period. But on the same hand, I feel that he is not above anybody else and I think they should make him travel with the team.

Right now his 91 mph fastball isn't scaring the minor league.

I think that the groin excuse is just that, an excuse. The Rocket has not been popping the mitt and it looks like he will have to be more of finesse pitcher than even the last two years. I'm not saying he won't be good but Yankee fans should be prepared for a softer tossing Clemmens.

I think, if the Yankees are too far out of the race they could cut him loose. Right now he is just under a minor league contract until he is called up.

I agree, Roger can't put them back in the race. The only chance is to get hot and win the Wild Card. The Sox are too good to wilt in the Summer Heat.
