No running game, a gimpy line and questionable QB play and he still got over 800 yards. Yeah, he didn't contribute.

Ok, stop it with all this character crap...yes, it is apart of everything. But i think our team has a lot of it, players talk crap sometimes. The Panthers norm has one of the best group of guys that play well despite the odds. And that is character.
It is about the game. Who can play and make plays. Key, i'm sort of shocked to see him go at this time and this way. The best thing he did for us this past year was blocking, he missed bad passes made bad calls, given he did have a bad pass or two come his way.
Carter this past year has gotten his hands better, he can hold the ball. He has heart, and I hope this year he will be even better. I HOPE.
They can start Carter, has the chance to prove what a lot of us think what kind of player he is and if not then give up to jarrett.
We need to focus on our TE and safety.
    that's my .02

Keyshawn hasn't done anything halfway decent since Signals.

Which, I might add, is important if you're gonna be a wide receiver.

I just want to state one clear positive about this. The level of competition just got blown the hell up. Every WR on the roster (besides Smitty) should be thinking, “#2 WR is up for grabs and whoever wins that slot has the luxury of playing opposite Steve Freakin’ Smith”. I have to continue to believe that Fox & Co are a hell of a lot more knowledgeable than anyone here, and that likelihood is comforting.
