    Why did they just pay him 3,000,000 for a roster spot a couple of days ago and then cut him. They get nothing in return?

    I'll bet he is pissed! After he was on national TV bragging about how he was going to mentor Dwayne Jarrett, this has to be humiliating for him. I hope the Panthers have a great plan in mind.

    the Panthers were on the hook for that money no matter when they cut him. it was a defered portion of his signing bonus.
