that was my first thought but this quote from Fox has me wondering if they are thinking of converting one of our CBs, "We will address that when we come into mini camp and it will be easily seen at that point, but we will discuss that with the players first. "

profiles suggest his best position as a pro is MLB. I am hopeful that Beason is a stud at MLB. Shaw I am hopeful will be a decent backup at MLB ... but have my doubts he will ever be much more than that. Just based on the video clips he looks like a better Seward/Choo Choo but not much else. I'm thinking our future is Davis, Beason, and Jackson (? LB we drafted last year who I think looks much more natural at WLB).

I'd rather not put an undersized, low growth potential, injury prone LB in the middle. Otherwise? Sure, he's built like one, he's the leader Morgan isn't, he's vocal. We may have gotten one of the few UM guys with heart but not attitude. I'm not especially worried about any of the ideas individually - size, growth, injury - but the combination leaves a lot more catastrophic variables.

Plus I think he can excel at either W or M. I want more impact than Anderson and Diggs weakside, where Diggs is only good against the run and to this point Anderson is only good at running in a straight line looking mildly lost.

Anderson. He's an average WLB prospect without the ability to do much else. Granted, most of the time we saw him, was oddly enough at SLB, which is funky since he's nowhere the style of player Davis is.

No they siad the only option for this, would be if a Safety was injured midseason and they had no other choice.
