UNC wasn't that great this year. They lost their most talented player and their only consistent outside shooter. I highly doubt they will be better compared to this years team. However, a lot of teams lost a lost more than UNC so UNC might appear to be better.

And I'm not talking about Duke. I'm talking OSU, Georgetown, UCLA, and Kansas.

    Vaughan? Pierce? Felton?

Hell, Quentin Thomas is actually passable now - which is something I never would have thought possible.

Yeah - oops. In that case, no one is arguing that UNC lost more than those teams.

Well lets see. This team is better on paper than the team that beat Dook on Senior night when dook had 2 All Americans. Elligton has the potential to develop into an offensive weapon with better shot selection. You've honestly yet to see Thompson and Stepheson develop much due to playing time issues, and even with that Thompson showed serious promise late in the year. Frasor is a solid outside shooter when playing the 2 guard spot, but has been hampered at PG up till this point. Graves is a hell of an outside shooter, and will probably see minutes for that alone.

It's just the difference between a 15 point win and a 40 point win over dook.

Keep bringing up Duke to defend your team. Won't change the realities that UNC likely gets worse next year.
