    I love how people are so quick to right off a player's season after 15 games. Manny's not gonna hit sub-.200 and I doubt this guy will either. two hits and a game-saving catch last night. the guy was money in triple A last year. there's no reason to believe he won't get better.

    I'd be more worried about Wily Mo. the guy doesn't even come close on breaking balls.

    That was nuts, wasn't it? My wife was yelling at Torre to get the guy out and I was thinking 'No way they'll hit FOUR.' :doh:

    The suprising part about the fourth homer was that it was Varitek.

    And Grid, Mark Loretta was money in the AL East last year. I know it's not quite the International League, but it's pretty decent. Pedroia couldn't hold Loretta's jock defensively whatsoever; it's more than batting average.
