It's to the point now where it has to. They should have brought him in, sat him down, and said "we want you as a member of the team, but we have some problems that need addressing. If you can fix what we have problems with, no harm, no foul. If not, we think it best to try and resolve this to the benefit of both parties and move you to a team that's a better fit for you under the present circumstances."

No. You don't unload him at cut rate simply because Tony Softli has a big fucking mouth. :twobits:

No, they should have either said nothing or said we've had some teams inquire about Kris Jenkins and we're always open to listening to what other teams are offering for any player.

I'm saying that they should have talked to Jenkins first and tried to resolve whatever problems there are before even shopping him. The way they've handled this almost makes me think they called Alberto Gonzales for advice on how to handle things.

I don't think they've said much at all. it's the media fueling the rumors, not the team saying "we're trading Kris because ________". It also wasn't this team that let it loose that we were considering shopping him, and I doubt seriously that they're at all happy it got out.

Bengals just signed Michael Myers who was one of Denver's starting DTs. Puts the pressure on them to try and trade up (or settle for Jarrell possibly if he lasts til their pick) or deal for a DT.

    first post.
"According to multiple personnel sources from other teams, it has been made clear the Panthers would be willing to trade Jenkins if the price is right."

The team did not "float" anything. They did not want this in the media.
