I have no idea. It doesn't matter either.

The point is that he was nowhere close to 210.

After watching the McDonald's All American game I came away with the impression that Singler will be like a Mike Dunleavy type player. He is a natural 3 and he has quick feet and plays good defense. He is also really skinny and would get banged around down low a lot. On the other hand, I am anticipating that Patterson goes to UF and Duke waits for Monroe to come to Duke in 2008. As for next year, Kyle Singler will be forced to play the 3 and 4. There will be no other choice. The only guys that could play anything down low against true big men for Duke are Lance Thomas and Brian Zoubek given size. McClure played down low last year, and I bet he does next year but that will be a big mismatch exploited everytime because McClure is only 6-4. Singler, given his height will be forced to play down low at least for next year. He will get banged around a lot but Duke really doesn't have another option EXCEPT for Taylor King. After watching the McDonald's All american game he looks a lot bigger (not in height) than I thought. He looks like he could bang a little bit, and having a guy at power forward who is 6-7 beats the hell out of David McClure down there. Also, noticed that Taylor King has slow feet. Being in the post might be better this year than having him on the wing cause I fear that he will get torched by a more athletic small forward. He's also known as a notorious rebounder who hits the glass hard. He has some bulk and looks like that's where he gets his minutes next year with the wings being so crowded. I think Paulus will be better next year. I'm not talking about Hurley or Amaker reincarnated but if he can just be decent then Duke will be fine. He improved his shooting dramatically. I couldn't believe how improved his jumpshot was. He made practically everything it seemed like at times. He just needs to keep the damn turnovers down and play at least some resemblance of defense. He had foot surgery which I think was nagging him some, but I think the cast around him wasn't the best either and that compounded his turnover problems. He needs to learn how to create some to. It's easy to pass to J.J. coming off a screen but when JJ and Shelden weren't there anymore Duke looked kind of lost and McRoberts never fully stepped up. I think Paulus will get gradually better. He'll never play in the NBA but he can be a decent guard running the point with a deadly three ball. If Coach K signs anything but a point guard or a post player I am going to be furious. Duke has like 7 scholarship wing players. Singler will be playing out of position this year based on the lack of personnel down low. I really think Thomas and Zoubek getting lots of minutes will really help Duke in 2008. I don't think UNC will miss a beat with Thompson in there either. They have enough coming back to absorb the loss of Wright. And Gerald Henderson was awesome against UNC. He is the only reason that game wasn't a total blowout and he played well against UNC in Cameron to. Outplayed Wayne

Um no. David McClue, while shorter is much MUCH stronger than Taylor King.

It does matter because 224 is almost as close to 210 as it is 235

Dude, pick a two year span. Unless it's when you are going through puberty, it's damn near impossible to add 35 pounds of muscle in 2 years without doing roids.

    Give it up already.

Your right in everything that you said. Everyone knows Dukes problem will be the big men. Hopefully after more time and strength training zoubek will fall into his own. Lance Thomas seems to have too much energy at times and it causing his shot to be too hard or causing too many fouls to quickly. McClure will be forced to lodge time at PF position again sharing with Singler, King, and Thomas just because he has experience and has shown he can bang a little bit. Duke will be fine. They are going to turn alot of heads.

Thats a damn lie. Wrestlers take off and put on 35 pounds all the time. I didnt say it all had to be muscle... muscle might be a little tough. But eating an extra meal a day isnt that hard. Ive watched 1aa football players gain 90 pounds in 3 years. Its not exactly unheard of, 35 pounds isnt an impossible mountain to reach.
