im sorry i know this is extremely late... bit i just read this and i got to say you are an idiot bigdan... omg the recruiting this year is a bust for coach K.... did you not see that three of his recruits were in the mcdonalds all american game... he picked up the number 4 and 6 recruit in the country... nc state got all of 2 in the top 100 right... and unc landed a big 0... critics are saying Dukes recruiting was in the top 5 overall... for some reason i havent seen sidney lowes boys up there at all... but hey im sure yall will have another stunner year ending up in the nit... haha recruiting this year was a bust... you must have meant for unc

 

Moron he said the 2006 class was a bust not this years! Having McDonald's AA's doesn't mean you'll have success.

They are all 4 year guys. Can't really tab a class as a bust till they are at least juniors or even seniors.

 

My mistake, i made a reading error. But i would still have to argue the point that they are a bust. They finished the season ranked in the top 25 as the tournaments seeding would say. Now to start two sophomores a junior and 2 freshmen and at sometime 3 freshmen and still finish ranked in the top 25 in the nation and be called a bust is a little farstretched. They beat Georgetown which you will recognize beat UNC when it hurt, they beat Indiana, they took down Gonzaga who UNC also failed to contain, they beat clemson and BC twice, and your gonna say that they were a bust. The only thing that should be said about the freshmen of Duke and a bust is when you refer to Gerald Henderson "busting" Tyler Hansbroughs nose open.

 

Good for Duke, they beat Gonzaga and Georgetown! They still lost to UNC twice and did not bring home a regular season or tourney title. Why must you bash UNC in every post you make? Is it a disease? Hell UNC started 3 freshmen all year long and sometimes had 4 on the floor at the same time, whats your point?

The fact that you keep on bringing up Tyler's nose is pathetic...how old are you 12? I'm sure you wouldn't say that to TH's face because he'd break you in half, you are such a punk!

 

Im saying they beat those people to prove a point. They had a great accomplishment this year in building with the people they had. UNC was good but will only be good for a year at a time with the people they recruit. They always recruit one or two year players. Tyler Hansbrough is an acception. He is already well off and doesnt need the money for his family like many recruits do. I will give you that UNC was good this year. They were national championship good. But they did choke, horribly. Great coaching too, firing up three point shots with 5 minutes left and a 15 point lead. Dont talk to me about diseases either "punk". Duke did lose to UNC twice regular season which was expected. But no one expected Duke to go into the NCAA tourney this year especially in the top 25 which is an accomplishment in its own. They will only get better, and for all you know i could be 6'8 300 pounds. So dont say TH would break me in half. His eyes would be too full of tears to see me.

 

Based on this statement, I think it's safe to say you aren't in college. And probably won't be ACCEPTED to any.

 

Dont assume. For all you know i might be enrolled at harvard law.

 

Duke had 6 Mcd's all americans this year. you act like they grabbed them from the intramurals.

and I guess no recruits for Duke come from good families...
