    Word on the Street:

-According to multiple sources, both from the NBA and close to the player himself, Kevin Durant will be announcing in a press conference mid next week that he will be putting his name in the draft.

Ty Lawson will be staying at North Carolina for his sophomore season, tells us a source very close to the situation. The source told us that Lawson did not go to Chapel Hill just to be one and done, and that if solely “making” the NBA was his goal, he would have gone somewhere that would have given him a better opportunity to pad his stats and “be the man.” Lawson reportedly wants to leave North Carolina with a legacy behind him, and declaring for the draft after losing the way he did in the Elite Eight is not what he had planned.

Lawson isn't going pro because he's not good enough yet. Nothing to do with a "dynasty".

it doesnt matter... lawson stays and averages 10 points again... and less assists... considering hes not gonna have brandon wright to pass to... or ellington .... and maybe not hansbrough... that is if hansbrough gets in a street fight with gerald henderson... because im pretty sure we all saw who would win in that situation

um... Ellington and Hansbrough will both be back. Wright's the only loss, and considiering how Deon Thompson started to come into his own come in the NCAA tournament I don't think it'll be a problem. I'd concern yourself with Dook's bigmen if I were you and not worry about UNC next year. I think they'll be just fine.

well unlike unc duke has enough people coming in to compensate for mcroberts... mcroberts leaving might actually be a gain... how many recruits do you guys have coming in because i know there is none in the top 150 ... duke has 4 in the top 100 2 in the top 10... they have 3 mcdonalds all americans coming in... two of which were big men... so therefor im not really concerned... and one out of lawson hansbrough and ellington will leave trust me... lawson and ellington both wanted to go out of highschool but they changed the rule... one will leave.. but good luck containing nolan smith next year... and kyle singler... gerald henderson is going to kill you guys... and next year for the first time in a while.. we are going to match up better guards then you... almost forgot about scheyer... he only scored 25 on yall first game... but im not worried considering we actually have people coming in

Duke had a roster full of All Americans last season. Lot of good that did.

just as good as uncs all americans did this year... they also were all freshmen... remember when unc's studs (felton, may, mccants) were freshmen they hardly made the nit... then went on to win a national championship... the freshmen they have coming in play against nothing but the best in highschool as well... nolan smith from oak hill played nothing but the best highschool teams in the country... same with singler... they wont have any trouble adjusting... you just try to keep up with the sophomores for next year... you will have henderson playing 3... you will have nolan smith sharing time with paulus.... you will have demarcus nelson who has proven to be deadly... and kyle singler 4 sharing time with king coming in... top to bottom considering who carolina has leaving... duke will be stronger... your in for a long year
