Chineese Spare Ribs

    So does anyone have a clue what that red sauce is they use for Spare Ribs at take-aways. Im gonna try to make my own this weekend.

    1/4 c. honey
    2 tbsp. sherry
    2 tbsp. ketchup
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 tbsp. sugar
    8 tons of MSG

    Sherry or cherry? i like where your going with that sherry if that's right.

    Ive picked up a few bottles of some shit from the asian section, hoisin sauce and some other varius weird looking stuff. Gonna have to wing it and risk fucking up a rack of ribs. Maybe ill just use a half rack for a test run.

    Wish i had an outdoor grill tho, gonna have to do it in the oven.
