Howard is a great choice. I would have to throw Dirk Nowitzki's name out there too. The guy is a beast and can flat out shoot it.

Kobe did pretty well with Shaq, but of course Wade has done pretty good with Shaq. Kobe doesnt have that big guy down low like Shaq so he has to do everything. But he can make people around him and his team better.

I like Chris Bosh more than Howard, as far as young bigs go. Not as tall, but plays bigger and seems to have a longer reach. He has a more developed inside game than Howard, who tends to want to play face up too much, since he doesn't have great footwork yet in the pivot.

I agree Bosh has the more advanced offensive game, he's a better passer too. I think Howard is a much better rebounder and obviously a better shotblocker too. That and he's a couple of years younger than Bosh, and I have to take Howard. Good to see Bosh get some love though, he's kind of lost up in Toronto unfortunately.

Based on age/talent, I take Howard to start my team. Sucks, the Bobcats were close to getting him. The NBA should have given us the first pick, assholes. Oh well, Okafor's not the worst consolation prize, even if it cost us a 2nd to get him. Thanks Clippers :) Oh and they gave us a 2nd back for another deal, taking Melvin Ely off their hands so they could run at Kobe maybe? I can't remember.
