    It looks like hte Yanks bought another line-up so they have to be in competition to win it all. The only problem could be the pitching staff. The Mets also haev a good line-up so the Subway series could be better this year.

    My pick for this year has to be with Cardinals again. They have the best player in baseball and they know what it takes to win it all

    Yankees get by every season with great hitting but their pitching staff always kills them in the postseason. With all the great hitters they have, they could really use some very good pitching. Wang is a solid #1 and Mussina is a pretty good #2. I will be shocked if Pavano makes it to June without a big time injury. I could see the Mets winning it all this year. Pretty easy path to the world series. Can't believe they blew it last year.

    Who cares. They will be 15 games out by the all star break and having their annual firesale in august.
