Hmmmmmmmmmm, Packman or Adam Gold . . Its been several years since I've heard hm on THE BUZZ. He tends to stay on one topic more vs. Primetime. Its either you talk about what he wants to talk about or you don't get on.

if you do get on it's for about 10 seconds...

he does nothing but bait and argue with his listeners.

That has always been the 850 model....mostly because it is 1 host, and not 3-4 people in studio. Totally different animal.

    Very Interesting....

I travel and really liked Adam Gold and Solarte on the Buzz. I also thought Seed did a good job as a plant (no pun intended) to get reactions.

I started listening to JB and B just a little before JohnBoy got caught with the wacky weed (anybody remember what year that was????).:17: I don't really listen to them anymore unless I scan across and hear them doing a skit (married man is the best, we all relate...."college buddy, you have no idea how much I love my wife, what a deep, meaningful relationship means, (shrew phone rings for the 9th time.....) DAMN IT!!!:knife:

Too much background noise on the show, too many people talking....best show on Radio in the mornings is on 92.3 out of Greensboro. They are funny, don't step all over each other and talk about some adult type stuff. Yea, i don't put them on till 8:10 when the kids are gone, but they are a riot.

For the record, I like Seed and QCB. I like Packer also. Guests are what he is all about. I wish I would have bet against QCB last year when he did his picks. Wouldn't have to be working still....:drink:

Those are overall ratings. FNZ doesn't give 2 flying fucks about that. They are only interested in the male demo 25-54...

They are 9th in the morning...17th in the middle of the day...

BUT...The Fall Book of 2006 they were 2nd in Men 25-54 during afternoon drive. That's pretty fucking strong. Just had my wife pull the numbers.

Does that take into consideration that they started broadcasting on two stations about the time of that drop?

Nope. My wife has been in radio sales for 10 years. They sell based on their demo. For Men 25-54 they kick ass during the afternoon. It's also priced accordingly. Sure, you can buy the number 1 station, but it'll be priced as such...it's about listeners per dollar spent.

If I'm buying ads for The Men's Club, or Bass Pro Outlets I don't want to waste money on women. I want to target men. I look at who is makes the most sense for my demo.

Primetime being number 2 in Men 25-54 makes it an easy sell to mortgage companies, builders, high end car dealers, golf courses, etc...

I guess my point was that the users are split between two frequencies but are listening to the same ads. WFNZ might have dropped some but would you add in WFNA to get a better picture of the stations ratings?
