    I don't know that I'd call what they did "playing". And even with the whole extra tournament to have played in, they still wound up with 1 less postseason win.

    Since earlier you advocated forgetting about head to head and instead awarding national championships to teams based on team a beating team b who beat team c, etc.... can I point out that we beat Maryland not once, but twice and they beat you not once but twice. Guess that means we're the better team huh?

    Actually for my chosen profession the University of Miami is the best school in the ACC to have a degree from.

    Hansborugh played great WHEN he played inside. It looked like he was trying to show NBA scouts he could make mid range jumpers. Shooting one or two - okay. But did he really need to shoot ten of them?

    Why Roy didn't yank Danny Green after throwing up two of the stupidest three point bricks is beyond me. Roy also never adjusted or helped Lawson adjust to the fact GT was collapsing three men on the middle every time he drove in. And they played the pass instead of the shot. But Lawson kept passing instead of shooting.

    The Heels played crappy defense all game too. They refused to contest the Hoyas inside - it's why the Hoyas weren't shooting free throws. The Heels would just wave at them as they drove by them to the hoop. I was screaming at the TV for the to just foul somebody.

    It was only fitting that the final plays in regulation was a wide open Hoya for a three to tie and Ellington jacking up another brick from three when all they needed was one. drive to the hoop - draw a foul, get a better shot, crash the board for a stick back. But why shoot a three when you didn't need it. Poor coaching by Roy.

    It's a young team that went a long way but they had more talent than brains and that seemed to include the coaching staff today.

    other than the fact he has a National Championship on his resume. I don't care who recruited the players. Roy's the one that led them to a title.

    except that he took a team of his own players to a championship game in 2003. Just four years ago.

    fucking moron.

    I bet Roy gets a team back to the Final Four again before Kcan'tcoachskianymore does.
