Who wants to tell me that any top tier coach would want to go the mess that is Kentucky basketball right now and start all over again?

It's not a mess, they won 22 games remember?

I bet Pitino would go back.

I was speaking more about the alumni's expectations and all the drama involved.

They, the average fan/alumini, wants to go to the final four every other year. Have fun with that.

That's what the Tarheels expect, they landed Williams.

Tarheel fans pale to the dementia that KY fans have. UNC fans are at least will give a new guy some time.

Steve Lavin - they asked him about it this morning on ESPN - he said "well, I'm undefeated the last 3 years. Don't rule out anything. "

Look for Coach K to go to Kentucky. The Duke ship is sinking fast.

Doherty got screwed by Guthridge's terrible recruiting towards the end of his tenure and Williams greatly benefitted from Doherty's recruits. I didn't think Doherty was that bad. Tubby hasn't gotten it done since his title. Would UNC fans except not going to a Final Four in ten years? no way. Anyway, the buzz is not Donovan or Izzo. John Calipari is in love with Kentucky and would leave Memphis in a heart beat. If he did that Kentucky would be a force. That is, until they get caught again with NCAA violations and another Kentucky Shame cover is on SI.
