    4. Michael Griffin, Texas, 6-0, 202: He is the best strong safety prospect in the draft, but his range and quickness might be a better fit at free safety, where he played as a senior. Griffin was the unquestioned leader of the Longhorns defense.

    I like Griffin about as much as Nelson, but for different reasons. I like him better against the run and for the leadership qualities.

    always liked him, but not the elite guy. He'll go late first, but sure, I'd love him if he were in the 2nd, or if we traded down to 20 or deeper, he'd be the first guy I'd think of. Really good fit for us.

    If we could trade down I would like him. He is a bit of a reach at 14, although I would not be upset if they did it. He fills a big need.

    Retired. He was a stud in his prime, but by the end of his career, I think he was one of the worst players who ever played for the Panthers.

    Good luck to him nonetheless as really IMHO, he will go into TV. As he is a pretty smart guy.
