they have a center, Okafor. 3rd in block shots, 4th in rebounding in the NBA.
they need an athletic 2 or 3 that can score in bunches, and create some offense on his own.

health. this team needs that more than anything.

I like caroll I hope we can keep him. I was reading on yahoo lastnight about possible coaches. They were saying maybe patrick ewing or larry brown??? Please just give me silas. He has a winning track record here in Charlotte for the most part. I think he is well liked. Am I wrong?

    Merch--

Jordan said last week he wants Carroll, Wallace, and Okafor locked up contract wise.

Let's also remember that the draft lottery is no exact science. The Bobcats were a favorite to get the number 1 pick a couple years ago, and the lottery combos canme out and they got the 5th pick. Wins late mean nothing, especially when you are looking like a lottery team.

Dukey-the East sucks, and the talk of the Bobcats is not stupid. It is a reach, but they have a chance. I don't think they will get there, after that 8 game losing streak right after Okafor got hurt, but stranger things have happened.

Thanks solarte. When i was in NC I used to watch sports night all the time. Keep up the good work! Also heard you fill in for rosinski as well. I just want to see if they can get a good run going. I mean if herman can shoot like he is the rest of the way... anything can happen! Plus if May comes back soon... it looks promising.

Without Okafor and May.They have no chance. With Okafor and May they can win a series in the playoff.Or at worst win a game or 2 in the playoff

They need to tank the rest of the season. Durant and Oden are big time. They may have to trade that additional 1st round pick to get one of those guys now.

Felton after the game said they were looking foward to Okafor coming back, but he said it looks like May is out the rest of the year. I think Mays career is iffy right now. hes shown he can play in the NBA , but his knee has basically cost him two seasons. he needs to stay out of the bars and lose some weight.
