KFFL says they're (Atlanta) looking at Anthony Wright for the backup gig. No way in Hell Houston gets a #2 for Carr. Every one will either wait until the price drops pickwise or for him to be cut. Remember Schaub is RFA and now they have to shell out the bucks to keep him, no way they keep both salaries.

A better way to put it would be two second round picks for a guy that barely completes half his passes. Both Vick and Carr have higher career passer ratings.

This guy hasn't exactly lit it up in his opportunities, limited though they may be.

If Carr gets hurt during workouts, minicamp, or camp, they have to pay him his whole salary for the year. 6 mil +. McNair won his complaint, so they can't lock him out. I bet they release him soon.

Tampa getting better, ATL getting better. We seem to be putting all our eggs into the draft, assuming our line will magically transform itself.

No one, not even Peyton Manning, would be worth a damn behind the Texans OL.

Well, since Schaub sucked in Atlanta, he will suck monkey balls in Houston.

Schaub has never been a starting QB. It is not like they just got Drew Brees, Schaub is as unproven as any rookie. They could have probably gotten Brady Quinn and kept their draft picks.

They felt a need to address the QB and now have done so with a second round pick (x2) keeping their slightly reduced 1st for another need. Your way, they would have spent a 1st rounder on QB then had to use 2nd on the next need. What sucks worse is the birds gaining draft picks.

We need a good backup. I say let Carr (if we got him somehow) have Jakes job, or at least compete for it, and Jake can be our backup.
