Roy admitted to making a mistake, not cheating. A couple of players got gifts that were under $400 after graduating...explain to me how that gave him an unfair advantage on the court. I smell alot of jealousy in here and quite frankly, it stinks.

As for sly not caring about me...I'm all broken up about it...really I am.

As for that little video clip...what is that supposed to prove? Ooohhh, he got annoyed by a reporter and said a bad word...quick, somebody call the gestapo!

So all they CAUGHT were the $350 graduation gifts...what ELSE were they given? That's the question.

a gamecock fan would definitely know about recruiting violations.....

and Duke fans will remember Myron Piggie who paid Corey Maggette and a couple of others over 35,000 dollars to play at duke, and the others respective schools

No, the question is why did the media make such a big deal out of such a minor violation when much worse is going on throughout the NCAA every year. There are student atheletes getting much more than that as soon as they sign up and we all know it. Have you not ever wondered how these young guys who don't work and came from poor families are driving brand new cars and wearing brand new $150 shoes all the time? Don't even get me started on the acedemic side of things...there's a reason that you see interviews with college athletes and they can't even speak English as well as me...a country boy who never went to college.

You know as well as I do that if it hadn't of been a high profile winning coach like Roy Williams, you would have never even heard about it.

if he was paid, he was pro and should have never been allowed at Duke. maggette lied on his student-athlete statement saying he had not received payments to play basketball. and Piggie paid them in exchange to receive payments back after they went pro, so I would say he cared where they went to school.
