    and don't forget, the ACC tournament championship doesn't mean squat -- it's the regular season conf. championship that's the real prize. the folks in Fantasyland believe it entitles one to a No. 1 seed.

    That's selective. No one there believes it unless they're Duke or Carolina fans. I doubt they think Virginny will be a #1. :sponge:

    looks like whoever determines the "toughness" of a conference needs to go find new work.


    seriously, the only way to gauge the strength of a conference is to make assumptions about the quality of each of the teams in a given conference. Turns out the ACC wasn't nearly as strong as most people thought. One could make the argument that the ACC is about the sixth best conference, behind the SEC, Pac 10, BIg 12, Big East and Big 10.

    The Big 10 has the same number of teams left as the ACC if you are basing that on the tournament.
