    there are 25 teams ahead of dook in the rankings

    24 of them should take up the 1-6 seeds.

    Like say Nevada who finished ranked 15th in the final polls but got a 10 seed

    or Winthrop (sly should really be pissed about the home town boys getting ripped off) who are ranked 23rd but could only get an 11 seed.

    Of course the team that really lucked out (thanks to their AD on the selection committee) was Virginia who finished the season unranked and got beat in the quarterfinals but somehow got a 4 seed.

    psssst, wossa. they take into account more than just rankings when filling the brackets and assigning seeds. I figured that you, as Mr. King College Basketball, would know that.
