    FSU had ZERO bad losses.

    2 losses to a #1 seed
    2 losses to a #4 seed
2 losses to a #7 seed - each on last second shot
1 loss to #2 seed Wisconsin
1 loss to #3 seed Pitt
    2 losses to a #10 seed

then 2 losses to Clemson, a team that started the season 17-0.

what are some GOOD losses by at-large bid teams?

vanderbilt's lost by 16 at home vs. Georgetown, 10 at Wake Forest, 8 home vs Furman, 8 at App. State, 12 at Georgia, 27 at Tenn, 15 home vs Arkansas

old dominion lost by 13 at Marist, 12 at Hofstra, 7 at James Madison, 5 at Va. Commonwealth, 16 vs. George Mason

purdue lost by 18 at Ga. Tech, 19 at Indiana State, 27 at Indiana, 19 at Iowa (incidentally, fsu beat purdue by 40 last year)

george washington lost by 19 at Providence, 14 at Air force, 7 at UMASS, 15 at Dayton, 10 at St. Louis, 6 at St. Joseph's

marquette lost by 4 at No. Dakota St., 12 home vs. Syracuse, 15 at Providence (incidentally, fsu beat providence by 30 this season)

texas tech lost by 10 home vs. Marquette, 14 home vs. Air Force, 8 home vs. UNLV, 3 at Baylor, 21 vs. Kansas State (ON FRIDAY!!!!!!)

    forget it.

i'm not even going to bother with arkansas, stanford, nevada, illinois and the others.

    screw this.

fsu had 20 wins last season, but had bad OOC games and it's SOS suffered. so, fsu went out and added providence, pittsburgh and wisconsin to the 2007 OOC lineup. not to mention playing (and beating ) florida.

fsu finished #41 in the RPI with the SOS being 20.

    purdue? RPI 44, SOS 44

    odu? RPI 39, SOS 96

    stanford? RPI 62, SOS 32

obviously, the committe didn't think that missing toney douglas with an injury for five games (fsu went 1-4) had any effect.

    whatever.

I agree, FSU got the shaft. Almost like the committee didn't take into consideration of there tough schedule.

FSU was barely a bubble team. 7-9 in conference should not get you in, injuries or no, and and that goes for ARK as well. Syracuse got robbed, not FSU.

Illinios did enough. Standford getting in was weird. Nevada absolutely deserved to get in.

And then to pour salt on the wounds, the NIT made FSU a 2 seed.

I hope State steamrolls them just to shut everyone up, especially Dick Vitale.

Still won't change the fact Drexel got rob. I'm betting that game will be played in Raleigh.
